EF Magazine has seen some huge changes since our last issue; most noticeable is the 25 new pages of fashion content. Fashion Editor Lauryn Prattes scoured the city’s best boutiques to bring you the finest fashion Atlanta has to offer. My favorite addition is our new Trend Lust section. Find out how to incorporate hot, new trends into your everyday life from work, to night, to weekend. After reading over the lusty new trends, I’m ready to trade in my jeans and a plaid shirt for a nice linen suit.

Another highlight of this debut content is our sizzling new fashion spread, “Warm Summer Nights, Atlanta City Lights,” in which Fashenelle’s designs light up the Atlanta skyline atop the Glen Hotel’s rooftop bar, 11 Stories. EF is the first to bring you Fashenelle’s custom designs, soon to be a household name in Atlanta.

Speaking of household names, “Frank Pompey” is one you’re already familiar with—if you’re a star athlete, of course. He’ll turn your style out with his amazing ability to remain true to who you are, making your fashion feel like a comfortable, natural expression of yourself. For more about Frank and his stylish career, check out this month’s Flashy Enterprise.

Chances are you’ve found yourself drowning in a pile of clothes in your closet, yet you still finding nothing to wear. How can this be? Save yourself some tears and some time with this month’s Lesson of the Month, where we break down a recovery plan of cleaning out your closet.

Ordinarily, I don’t wait this long to talk about our cover story, but sometimes you do just have to save the best for last. This month’s feature is about two accomplished women, Keila and Juliana Mesquita, who have built a booming boutique business by employing the mindset of a major corporation. Paying strong attention to customer service while providing the latest trends, K-la is the must-have shopping Mecca you’ve been looking for in Atlanta.  Louisa Gleichman, Associate Editor, reports the play-by-play on their self-made success in “Style Sisters.”

EF Magazine’s fashion editor, Lauryn Prattes, volunteered her head for a makeover by Master Hair Stylist Daniel Jones (seen on the August cover). Giving him carte blanche, Lauryn let Daniel work his magic, transforming her hair from drab to fab. Click here to watch a video of Lauryn’s metamorphosis and read her take on the entire experience.
